The Building Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the Gainesville facility of Mansfield Oil.

Responsibilities

Daily Maintenance Check Routine

  • Daily walkthrough of entire building and parking lot - create repair list as needed
  • Check work orders and emails coordinate scheduling of completion with Facilities Manager (if cannot be completed same day)
  • Ensure all copy machines are stocked with paper for the day
  • Ensure water is supplied to all designated refrigerators
  • Check air handling filters and thermostat batteries and replace as needed
  • Check all lighting and replace bulbs as needed as well as repair or replace fixtures
  • Check all Maglocks on doors for tightness and functionality
  • Daily Training room configuration set up
  • Inspect building (other structures) for malfunctions and needed repairs; make recommendations based off pre-established check list
  • Preform minor plumbing maintenance, such as repair leaking faucets, unclogging drains, replacing drain hoses, etc.
  • Routinely clean building during the work day, such as hallways, lobby, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and parking lots
  • Parking lot grounds maintained
  • Shipping & Receiving needs

Weekly and Monthly Maintenance Tasks

  • Paint designated areas
  • Check all HVAC systems (filters, lines, coils)
  • Check and clean roof and gutters
  • Check generators and ensure reliability
  • Clean windows
  • Prepare for quarterly meetings to include setup and tear down of equipment and furniture
  • Practice execution of disaster plan to ensure readiness at all times
  • Equipment & Facilities repairs and maintenance

Work Orders/Help Desk

  • Prioritize work order/help desk requests based on impact to company and initiate resolution
  • Install and/or repair furniture and office spaces as needed
  • Prepare for meetings as requested including table/chair set up
  • Assist employees as needed
  • Move boxes as needed
  • Repair drywall as requested
  • Replace carpet tiles as requested
  • Deliver boxes as needed

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Requests from Executive team
  • Requests from admin team
  • Deliver boxes or assist with moving heavy objects as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of meeting rooms as needed
  • Personal errands for the executive team
  • Forklift responsibilities (inspections, use, etc.)
  • Other request from Facilities Manager

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Valid Driver's License

Knowledge & Experience

  • 3-5 years of facilities or other maintenance experience required
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with ticketing/work order systems
  • HVAC knowledge is a plus

  • Able to pass criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR

Work Environment

  • 40-hour on-site work week and on-call for building emergencies
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
  • Ability to climb ladders as needed to access roof/ceiling for repairs or maintenance
  • Must be flexible with work hours including after hours and occasional weekends
