TITLE Director of Development, Houston JOB SUMMARY The Director of Development, Houston, leads philanthropic efforts to advance the strategic priorities of TWU's Houston campus. This role manages a portfolio of major, annual, and planned giving prospects; builds corporate and foundation partnerships; and develops donor engagement strategies that strengthen support for the campus. The Director works closely with university leadership, faculty, and Advancement colleagues to foster a culture of philanthropy and drive meaningful impact. Work is performed independently under limited supervision, and performance evaluation is based upon the results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Master's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE Five years of successful progressively responsible experience in higher education or comparable non-profit fundraising.Professional work experience in an academic/higher education setting preferred. REQUIREMENT Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regularly scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position. Must be willing to travel and work weekends/evenings as necessary.
