Are you ready to take your skills to new heights? Under the guidance of our experienced Foreman, you will be hands-on with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems on-site. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, individuals must be able to perform each essential duty effectively. The qualifications outlined below reflect the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. - Mentor and train crew members in roofing techniques, proper equipment use, and adherence to safety standards.
- Gain hands-on experience by assisting with commercial and industrial roofing installations, replacements, and waterproofing projects.
- Prepare and organize job sites efficiently under the direction of the lead roofer to ensure smooth project execution.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work with precision and speed to meet project deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Collaborate closely with fellow crew members and the foreman to ensure seamless teamwork and successful project completion.
- Operate tools and equipment safely, including hand tools, power tools, and specialized roofing machinery.
- Apply roofing materials such as adhesives, sealants, caulking, and coatings as directed.
- Maintain a clean worksite by removing debris from roof surfaces and surrounding areas.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team and project goals.
Required Education & Experience:
- 6 years or more of roofing experience.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed work orders.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools, with the physical ability to climb ladders and work safely at elevated heights.
- Comfortable working at heights and in diverse weather conditions, maintaining focus and safety.
- Strong understanding of roofing methods, materials, and industry-standard safety practices.
- Detail-oriented and safety-focused, with a commitment to performing each task with care and precision.
- Willing to join Local 96 or the appropriate local roofing union.
- Familiarity with various roofing systems-including built-up roofing, EPDM, heat-welded TPO/PVC membranes, and coatings-is preferred.
Other Details:
- This position requires regular in-person reporting to job sites located in and around the Green Bay and Fox Valley areas, including Appleton, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be available for flexible work hours and willing to travel to local and regional job sites, including overnight stays.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Wages and other benefits are paid in accordance with the Local 96 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
