About the Role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Operator/Technician to join our Finishing Team to inspect/sample/package and perform rigorous batch review for regulated products on 2nd shift. This commitment provides the opportunity to join a growing team to help ensure that we are meeting our operations objectives and customer needs. Standard weekly hours are 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday. This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland. Pay and Benefits:
- $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
- This role is eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay for evening, night, and weekend shifts (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

Responsibilities
- Learn, support, and practice Gore culture

- Manufacture product, completing set-up, cleaning, troubleshooting, and operating a broad range of complex process equipment
- Follow area environmental safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment while working with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Engineering to include the use of personal protective equipment
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Perform quality inspection and testing
- Perform detailed and accurate record keeping for process documentation and data collection
- Utilize our quality system to ensure our process delivers products that meet customer needs and expectations that adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and International Standards Organization
- Partner with cross functional teams to meet production goals
- Support occasional overtime and flex shift schedule, as needed
Required Qualifications
- Experience running complex equipment and keeping accurate documentation (e.g. batch records, process logs)
- Basic computer skills with ability to learn more advanced systems
- Demonstrated attention to detail while making product quality decisions, adhering to SOP's and written work instructions
- Ability to working independently and in a team environment
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, including providing and responding to feedback.
- Ability to focus on primary commitments while managing multiple priorities
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment and wear cleanroom garments and gloves
- Able to cross-train and perform a variety of tasks including, lifting 35 lbs several times per shift
- Able to adapt to production schedule changes with the ability to work overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an FDA or other regulated environment
- Experience in Quality Inspection
- Experience working independently and within a functional team
