Associate Material Planner (Onsite)

The Associate Material Planner will help ensure the efficient and cost-effective management of inventory levels for lab operations. Primary contact for assisting in managing vendor relationships and performance. The Associate Material Planner is responsible for working with management to forecast material supplies. Responsible for coordinating inventory activities with manufacturing, purchasing, and accounting to minimize waste and maximize production.

1. Forecast material supply requirements based on Oracle reports, production schedules, and analysis of laboratory demand.
2. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of high-quality materials according to supply plans and to quickly resolve any issues or delays.
3. Serve as on-site resource for Procurement and Finance teams and maintain and update supply chain databases and systems in Oracle ERP.
4. Additional administrative support duties as assigned.
5. Oracle ERP data maintenance: maintain and update supply chain databases and systems.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

1. Required education and experience requirements:
   1. Associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, OR
   2. High school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience as listed below.
2. Relevant experience
   1. Experience in a Procurement, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management role- experience (in a clinical lab or biotech environment is a plus), OR
   2. Experience in a clinical lab environment with an understanding of material requirements and processes (experience in a regulated clinical environment is a plus).
3. At least 1 year of extensive user experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP system.
4. Proficient with Excel (as demonstrated by passing a pre-interview examination).
5. Strong organizational skills are essential for this position and good communication skills are also very important.

Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
