We create proof-of-concept and lower-volume specialty communications products for government and private industry using wireless technologies such as TETRA, LMR, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, WiFi, LTE and embedded systems. Our customer-centric, team based environment provides an excellent growth opportunity for engineers and developers in enterprise markets where innovation is the primary focus Job DescriptionWe're looking for an IT Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our disaster recovery plans and backup solutions across multiple networks. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuity of our IT operations in the event of a disaster. The specialist will focus on the technical aspects of disaster recovery planning (DRP), including system backups, recovery testing, and restoration procedures. This role will also act as an IT Asset Manager, which will act as a liaison between IT, Vendors, Finance, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure departmental Hardware & Software assets are properly purchased, tracked, and utilized within the department.
