Organizational Unit Overview
The College of Nursing ( CON) is an academic unit within the Division of Academic Affairs at East Carolina University. The College of Nursing has a Baccalaureate, including pre-licensure, Accelerated baccalaureate and an RN- BSN option, PhD, DNP, and a Masters program, which includes concentrations in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Psych Mental Health, Nursing Education, Nurse Anesthesia and Nursing Leadership. The student enrollment is 1200 students. There are 113 faculty and 43 support staff. The College itself is located on the west campus. The college has three departments: Department of Baccalaureate Education, Department of Advanced Nursing Practice and Education, and Department of Nursing Science. The College of Nursing has academic support offices and a Business Office. The Business Office provides support to offices of the following: The Dean, Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, Associate Dean for the Undergraduate Program, Associate Dean for Nursing Support Services (which includes Student Services, the Advising Center, Concepts Integration Lab, Counseling and Development, Information Technology, and a Learning Resources Center), and the Associate Dean for Research and Scholarship.
Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to manage day to day operations including facilities (including work orders and maintenance requests), space, and clinical contracts. This position is responsible for coordination of clinical agency requests by faculty. In addition, this position is responsible for negotiating contracts with all clinical agencies providing clinical experiences to East Carolina University College of Nursing. This position works in concert with Associate Deans, Department Chairs, the directors as a liaison between faculty and the clinical agencies to administer the contract functions involving over 845 clinical sites throughout the region. This position provides a variety of support functions to the administration officers, staff, and the business office of the College of Nursing. The position also is responsible for requesting Health Span sign-on codes, Electronic Health Record sign-on codes and identification badges for faculty each semester that are scheduled for clinical rotations with ECU Health and providing ECU Health with the required documentation on each faculty member. This position is the primary timekeeper for the college and is responsible for office space for faculty and staff, ensuring they have a phone, computer and places all work orders for the college. This position serves as the contact for all facility related matters.
Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
Experience and knowledge related to ECU contracts. Experience with ECU related platforms such as Chrome River, Banner, Kronos/PirateTime, work order ticketing system, and purchasing/transactional experience with the university.
