The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, theElectrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Develop and manage the master production schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity.

  • Collaborate with production, procurement, sales, engineering, and quality to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment with business goals.

  • Analyze capacity constraints and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks.

  • Monitor actual production output against the plan and adjust the schedule as needed to meet customer requirements.

  • Maintain planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, and safety stocks.

  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability aligns with the production schedule.

  • Generate and distribute schedule reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, production planning, and supply chain efficiency.

  • Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align demand and supply planning.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$70,000- $85,000
