This is a temporary position: This position oversees specific aspects of the Accounts Payable (AP) process, including accurately and efficiently processing invoices and complying with all internal accounting policies and external rules and regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The responsibilities outlined below are essential functions of the position and must be carried out to perform effectively, at least at an acceptable level, as defined by Front Porch. In the future, additional duties may be assigned, which will also be considered essential functions of the position: * Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and management regarding payment issues, discrepancies, or related concerns. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, and tax requirements. * Continuously evaluate and enhance accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. * Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable processes and transactions. * Responsible for the efficient and timely processing of invoices, incorporating manual processing and performing three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipt confirmations to ensure accuracy. * Thoroughly review and validate invoices, confirming that they are aligned with purchase orders and include all required supporting documentation. * Perform all other related duties as assigned.
