Job Description PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Tax Department during the summer of 2026. Our tax interns work alongside experienced tax accountants to help us meet the department's vision of being a trusted business partner - providing reliable guidance, integrated tax solutions, and world-class customer service.Through proactive efforts, we aim to stay ahead of business developments, mitigate risk, and create efficiencies through innovation. Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role is responsible for assisting with the following: Preparing sales, use, income, and property tax returns for jurisdictions throughout the U.S. Responding to and resolving jurisdictional inquiries and correspondence Performing tax account reconciliations and resolving any exceptions Providing customer service to support branch operations Participating in team training designed to further develop technical tax and interpersonal skills This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Basic Requirements Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, data analytics, or tax Available to work a 40-hour work week during the summer of 2026 Displays dedication to delivering quality work, prepared accurately and completely Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to develop strong relationships with team members and other internal stakeholders Preferred Requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with Alteryx, Thomas Reuters ONESOURCE Determination, CCH AnswerConnect, OneSource RS Express, and/or PowerBI is a plus Local to the Kansas City Metro area Benefits At Performance Contracting Group, our employees are our greatest asset.
