Job Description
PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full-time paid internship supporting our Information Technology Department during the summer of 2026.
Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10-week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
This role is responsible for assisting with the following:
- Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
- Field incoming support requests (phone and tickets)
- Triage and resolve support requests as necessary
- Escalate advanced issues to appropriate support team
- Maintain excellent records of work completed
- Perform tests validating resolutions provided
- Engage all tickets assigned within internal SLAs
- Manage, execute, and document project work
Basic Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study, and must still be in pursuit of the degree during the summer of 2025
- Must have interest in customer-focused work, supporting the IT Service Desk
- Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
- Displays excellent customer service skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask
Preferred Requirements
- Prior completion of 2-3 years of a relevant undergraduate degree program is preferred
- Local to the Kansas City Metro Area
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
