POSITION SPECIFICS

The Pennsylvania State University Career Services is looking for a Program Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all processes related to career programs and workshops, including but not limited to fulfilling workshop requests, staffing programs, and coordinating program logistics.

  • Lead and/or serve on various committees.

  • Assist with recruitment efforts.

  • Conduct numerous workshops.

  • Hold 1-2 drop-in shifts per week to meet with students.

  • Lead the development and implementation of Career Services' programs and workshops, both in person and online.

  • Manage our Interview Training Program.

  • Assist in the implementation of a University-wide career readiness program.

  • Supervise a team of 6 student interns: (1 Graduate Workshop Intern, 3 Professional Attire Closet Interns, 2 Professional Headshot Interns)

  • Create and provide ongoing training and materials.

  • Continually assess the intern program.

  • Use innovative tools and techniques to meet the engagement needs of today's students.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

If filled as Career Services Specialist - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None If filled as Career Services Specialist - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $46,400.00 - $74,000.00.
