Description Acara Solution is looking for an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for our client located in McLeansville, NC. As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you'll support CCA development for electronics used in high-reliability undersea communication systems. Documentation capture, including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D models generation). Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Associate Degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in using Mentor Graphics Xpedition. Minimum 7 years of experience in library management practices. Minimum 7 years of experience in ECAD/PCB layout design processes. Minimum 7 years of experience in Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx. Minimum 7 years of experience in Circuit design and hands-on prototyping. Minimum 7 years of experience in schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx), or Altium. Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards. In-depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques. Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages. Department of Defence Secret security clearance is preferred or obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
