As a Senior Mathematician, you will collaborate with a team of highly skilled artists, software engineers, and game designers to deliver engaging and innovative gaming experience. Bring our games to life by developing the math models that drive slot game play. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, efficiency under pressure, and a proactive, positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities
* Design math models for slot games, demonstrating game probabilities and Return to Player (RTP) through theoretical calculation and simulations.
* Collaborate with fellow mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm new game mechanics and access the mathematical feasibility of innovative concepts.
* Develop, test, and debug simulations to verify the accuracy of the math models and gather performance statistics.
* Work closely with software engineers and math test engineers to ensure proper implementation and regulatory compliance of math models.
* Mentor junior mathematicians on math structure setup, balancing, and best practices.
* Stay informed about competitive products and emerging technologies in the gaming industry.

Qualifications

Experience
*3 - 5 years of professional gaming experience in applied mathematics, probability, combinatorics, or a related field.
* Prior experience in the game industry is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Strong understanding of diverse mathematical game design structures; able to independently develop and evaluate new math concepts.
* Regularly contributes creative ideas and mechanics to game design discussion; may be asked to propose original concepts and participate in design steering meetings.
* Skilled at identifying and resolving compliance issues related to game mathematics across various jurisdictions.
* Deep knowledge of competitor products and the broader casino gaming landscape; serves as a go-to resource for less experienced team members.
* Strong familiarity with historical slot games and market trends.
* Proficient in Windows programming environments, particularly using Visual Studio.

Education
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

This is a 5 days a week, fully on-site role reporting into our studio in Las Vegas, NV.
