The applicant should have a Ph.D. in auditory neuroscience or a related field. They should be proficient in collecting electrophysiological data from central auditory structures, particularly in the cerebral cortex. The applicant should have experience in performing psychophysical and electrophysiological experiments in non-human primates, including the use of multi-contact probes, and analyzing these data using MatLab and other custom computer programs. The applicant should be able to mentor undergraduate students and other lab personnel in these techniques and perform recovery surgical procedures in non-human primates including craniotomies and related techniques. Preferred qualifications
