We are seeking forward-thinking, member driven candidates with a passion for employee engagement and development for the position of Learning & Development Specialist.

This role is responsible for designing and delivery various learning and development programs and initiatives, including but not limited to New Hire Orientation, Career Coaching, Career Pathing, and administration of the credit union's Learning Management System (LMS) and intranet.

Key Job Functions:

  • Conducts needs assessments, makes recommendations to management, and develops training courses to meet credit union needs.
  • Serves as a Career Coach by providing targeted assistance with professional development and preparing individualized Talent Development Plans for employees.
  • Maintains the Training calendar, general inbox, and assigned sections of the Justice Federal's intranet.
  • Manages the leadership development programs and workshops in support of maintaining our High Performing Organizational culture.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Three to eight years of similar or related experience. Financial industry experience preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree, or completion of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • Additional experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Previous adult training and facilitation to include adult learning concepts and classroom facilitation planning required.
  • Association for Talent Development (ATD) certification, Myers Briggs, or DISC certification preferred.

Compensation ranges are based on market data that enables Justice Federal Credit Union to remain competitive with other credit unions of similar asset size.
