Job Summary

The specific role being sought is for a Financial Analyst to provide critical support and business partnership to our newly developed Water and Wastewater Treatment business segment.

Reporting to Water and Wastewater Controller, this position will work with a team of financial and operational professionals in the maintenance of existing policies and procedures as well as the deployment of the teams' resources to address a diverse range of issues and opportunities as they arise. This role is highly collaborative in nature, requiring excellent communication skills in both the sharing of financial concepts and the grasping of cross-functional imperatives including operational execution, commercial strategies, and cost implications of project accounting. Success for this individual will be achievement of the Annual Operating Plan ("AOP"), as well as driving revenue growth, margin expansion and net working capital optimization using Ingersoll Rand's IRX tools and processes.

Responsibilities:


  • Managerial Reporting:
    Deliver insightful month-end reports with trend analysis, risk/opportunity identification, and anomaly review.


  • Accounting Support:
    Assist with accounting activities and enforce segregation of duties to uphold policies.


  • Forecasting/Budgeting:
    Prepare timely, accurate forecasts and build strong stakeholder relationships to understand P&L and balance sheet movements.


  • Internal Controls:
    Ensure consistent controls across entities by developing repeatable, compliance-focused processes.


  • Talent Development:
    Build a strong team aligned to corporate goals, fostering growth, redundancy, and business continuity.




Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of experience as a financial analyst or similar role with proven ability to drive performance in a team setting using strong communication skills and accounting acumen.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; specifically Excel and Outlook

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related Business Concentrations.

Preferences:


  • Audit experience (partnering both internally and externally).

  • Familiarity and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and HFM

  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment.
