* Routine duties based on detailed instruction. Works under direct supervision. Responds to routine questions and problems within standards and guides. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job.

* Company representative in Environmental agency inspections (e.g., EPA, ODEQ, Corporation Commission).

* Performs basic water treatment operation.

* Performs basic environmental compliance functions.

* Serve as a technical resource to plant personnel.

* Performs basic boiler chemistry control and cooling water chemistry control.

* Ensures compliance with safety policies and promotes a safety culture by modeling behaviors consistent with Incident and Injury Free (IIF).

* All other duties as assigned.

* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry; Or

* Bachelor's Degree in Science with two years chemistry experience (i.e. Environmental laboratory, regulatory, Environmental consulting, equivalent military experience, Industrial Environmental, etc.).

* Required to work with multi-crafts crews and other groups.

* May work under hazardous conditions where physical danger exists due to mechanical equipment.

* May be required to work non-standard work schedules which includes overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call and call-outs.

* May be exposed to extreme conditions and inclement weather.

* May require travel.

* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude in the use of hand tools.

* Ability to take on additional responsibility.

* Basic knowledge of the plants water treatment systems.

* Basic knowledge in plant cooling water systems.

* Basic knowledge of the plants environmental compliance and reporting.

* Ability to communicate with individuals at various levels throughout the organization.

* Ability to adopt and practice Incident and Injury Free (IIF) philosophy.
