The Financial Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting foreign exchange and interest rate risk management activities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Executing derivative/spot transactions in compliance with the applicable Policy
- Utilizing other software tools and platforms to execute and manage derivatives (FXall)
- Consolidating, tracking, and analyzing risk exposure forecasts
- Working with cross-functional and international groups to ensure solid understanding of risk drivers
- Presenting forecasts and strategies to finance management in North America and Global Treasury
- Analyzing the accounting impacts of financial risks
- Utilizing Penta SAP to gain insights into FX impacts to the P/L
- Preparing forecast and actual results analysis to support FP&A
- Quarterly and ad hoc presentations to Management
- Monitoring current market conditions and market research (Bloomberg)
- Supporting cash investing activities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of Finance, Treasury, Accounting or Engineering experience
- Solid understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets, and the impact of each on FX and interest rates
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, develop new skills, and utilize technology to improve processes
- Ability to take complex information and present in simplified, easy to understand format
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects
- Treasury experience in large corporate environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, CA and/or CFA designation highly preferred
