SUMMARY:

Collect and analyze incoming bulk ingredients, save samples as required. Analyze process from concentrate through filtration using refractometer, spectrophotometer, turbidimeter, titrator, colorimeter and vitamin C titrator using specifications to ensure raw product integrity. Monitor finished product quality using before mentioned instruments. Maintain accurate, detailed and complete documentation to ensure finished product integrity. Maintain communication with operators and supervisors.

  2. Collect and Analyze Juice Samples Prior to Filtration
  3. Ensure Quality of product prior & after Concentration
  4. Collect, Analyze and Monitor Batching of Tanks
  5. Provide Accurate Analytical Results and Blending Assistance
  6. Collect, Analyze and Monitor Finished Product
  7. Incoming Tanker Inspection, Unloading and Outgoing
  8. Support 10% Finished Product Hold Reduction & 5% Consumer Complaint Reduction
  9. Communicate with Key Personnel
  10. Maintain Paperwork
  11. Collect Required Samples
  12. Maintain Work Environment
  13. Knowledge of Lab Equipment:
  14. Be Aware of Safety Hazards
  15. Train Co-Workers
  16. Ensure Compliance to Food Safety and Plant Security



QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year position related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate in English


LANGUAGE SKILLS:



  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, statistical correspondence and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of Tree Top
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to comprehend statistical data, perform laboratory analysis and comprehend laboratory specifications, methods and procedures


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:



  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
  • Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs, line charts, etc.

PAY INFORMATION:

Salary Range: $19.87 - 25.17/HR

This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Salary increases are determined by promotional opportunities. Tree Top provides a weekly payroll. This position is eligible for annual safety incentive.
