Summary: UNC Hospitals Rehabilitation Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist I to join our multidisciplinary team at The Center for Rehab Care in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position providing high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals across the neurological spectrum in an outpatient setting. This opportunity is well-suited for a developing clinician with a strong interest in neurorehabilitation. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in an outpatient neuro setting. - Patient Evaluation & Treatment - Conduct evidence-based neurorehabilitation evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Functional Progression - Monitor and adapt care to maximize carryover into daily life, mobility, and independence.
- Patient & Family Education - Provide strategies for exercise adherence, fall prevention, and safe participation in meaningful activities.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration - Participate in case conferences and team-based care models.
- Mentorship & Growth - Support student learning opportunities and engage in professional development.
- Quality & Documentation - Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
