The Opportunity

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is now hiring an Admissions Specialist at the Daytona Beach campus. Under the direction of the Director of Enrollment Management Operations, an admissions specialist is responsible for processing applications for admission to the University for both Graduate and Undergraduate applicants. Emphasis is placed on Undergraduate application processing. A specialist will work in collaboration with territory managers to counsel and guide applicants through the application process using the highest level of personalized customer services. The position's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluating applicants and making admission decision recommendations

  • Using Campus Solutions and other integrated systems such as the Salesforce CRM to process applications

  • Using the Imaging system, including Workflow, to track applicant documents such as application forms, transcripts, test scores, letters of recommendation, and all other documents required for an admission decision

  • Extensive applicant data entry in the student information system, Campus Solutions

  • Assisting with Admission events, including annual Open House, Preview Day, and Orientation

  • Running queries and reports to audit applicant information to maintain data integrity

  • Working in collaboration with other departments, including Registrar and Records, Financial Aid, Housing, First Year Programs, and others to ensure applicants are provided with necessary information to facilitate matriculation to the University

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school, or five years of related experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy

  • Ability to communicate with diverse audiences of students, staff, and faculty

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Campus Solutions

  • Experience with Imaging Systems

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
