Esteller Lab: Intelligent Neurotechnology for Translational Medicine

About the Position
The Esteller-Pati Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota is seeking a highly motivated full-time Researcher 1 to join a dynamic team focused on developing intelligent neurotechnologies and neuromodulation for clinical translation. The lab specializes in computational modeling, physiological signal analysis, and innovative neuromodulation strategies for neurological disorders such as epilepsy, chronic pain, and autonomic dysfunctions.

Primary Responsibilities
* 80% - Assistance in clinical trials writing protocol, IRB submissions, study amendments, clinical trial operations (data collection or other), patient's assessments and coordination
* 20% - Other activities such as support for data analysis, study publications and assistance with other lab operations, including maintenance of equipment and coordination of research supplies.

Qualifications

Required:
* Undergraduate degree in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, or a closely related field OR a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least four years
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated motivation, initiative, and attention to detail
* Prior experience or coursework in clinical translational studies, neuromodulation, and conducting clinical or preclinical proof-of-concept studies

Pay and Benefits

Fixed Pay Rate: $22.14/ hour
