The full salary range for the Director, Systemwide Radiation Safety Program is $114,300.00 - $220,900.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $167,600 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs
Serves as the UC system-wide technical expert in the development and implementation of Radiation Safety programs. Represent EH&S regarding the field/discipline at meetings and conferences involving academic compliance committees, campus, system-wide, local government, state and federal levels of authority in matters related to field of expertise. Decision-making is based on established procedures and integration/interpretation of relevant laws, regulations and organizational policy; professional best practices; relevant science methodology, impact on other EH&S programs; and senior management approvals. Decisions may impact other EH&S programs, departments, segments of the organization and/or organization-wide. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position.
