Position Overview

The Press & Assembly Operator is responsible for maintaining efficient machine production to produce quality products, minor troubleshooting of machine issues, on the floor quality detailing of products.

Schedule:


1st shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday-Friday)


2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Monday-Friday)


3rd shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Sunday-Thursday)


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

* Responsible for scrap, operating equipment to maximize efficiency, and product quality.
* Visually inspect parts produced to ensure that no defective parts are packed and shipped.
* Handle finished product including boxing, labelling and palletizing.
* Perform all required quality tests for control charting purposes.
* Ensure that the required amount of parts are packed in the proper container with correct labeling.
* Complete required production reporting forms accurately.
* Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported to be appropriately destroyed or placed on hold for review and decision.
* Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma.


Experience: Manufacturing experience preferred.


Specific Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, competency to read and comprehend product specifications, strong time management stills.


Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jacks- manual & electric.


Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.

Work Environment

Manufacturing Plant. Climate Controlled.
