This is a high-impact, high-visibility role within the Systems Protection Segment Finance and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) teams. This position is the finance leader for nVent's largest manufacturing site in Anoka. You will lead the site ISC finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting while maintaining appropriate controls. You'll serve as a key business partner to site leadership by providing analytical insights that support strategic investments and cost savings opportunities to drive performance, accountability and predictability for the Anoka site.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Provide finance support to site leadership, assuring awareness of gaps to targets and offering alternate paths to achieving commitments. Drive accountability for achieving ISC performance metrics. Act as the financial conscience of the Anoka site. Manages the annual development of manufacturing standard costs and performs insightful variance analysis to support continuous improvement. Ensures strong inventory control practices, including cycle counts, physical inventory processes, and excess and obsolete reserve reviews. Lead CapEx process, including financial analysis, return on investment, and cashflow impacts. Leads annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the Anoka plant. Reviews month-end closing entries and plant performance reports; partners with Controllership, Audit, FP&A, and supports special projects and ad-hoc analysis.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus. 7+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Operations Finance, or Corporate Finance, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred. Proven track record of effectively leading or motivating teams in a matrixed setting; ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal oversight. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office products (Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP, Business Intelligence, and Essbase systems is preferred. Displays a strong understanding of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS); demonstrates an inventive, forward-thinking approach to work. Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to manage workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment with flexing responsibilities.

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $89,300.00 - $165,800.00
