Job Summary The Quality Assurance Analyst III ensures that IT systems and software meet quality standards by auditing, testing, and validating enhancements, new systems, and changes. This position mitigates risks, improves processes, and provides guidance to development teams and stakeholders to support high-quality delivery across web, mobile, and enterprise applications. This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation. What you will be doing:
- Audit, measure, and report on IT compliance with quality assurance policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scripts, test automation scripts, detailed test conditions, and defect logs.
- Conduct unit testing, regression testing (including automated), system integration testing, product testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Capture screenshots, run SQL queries, and review application functionality to validate test results.
- Maintain QA artifact repositories and standardize test processes to ensure repeatable and efficient testing.
- Monitor project status, report risks, and provide QA signoff on system changes.
- Lead and mentor junior QA analysts, testers, and contractors, coordinating activities across teams, partners, and vendors.
- Recommend test automation tools, process improvements, and enhancements to QA methodology.
- Ensure IT changes align with business needs, reduce defects, and minimize support costs.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and QA best practices to continuously improve testing quality and efficiency.
What we need from you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related IT-focused discipline, or significant equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in test planning, documentation, and execution.
- 3+ years experience in test automation.
- 3+ years experience testing eCommerce websites and mobile applications.
- Extensive knowledge of systems development lifecycle methodologies, risk and control in software development, and QA best practices.
- Proficiency with test automation tools (Perfecto, NeoLoad preferred), test management software (ALM, HP Quality Center, GitHub), and databases (SQL, Aqua Data Studio, Oracle).
- Experience with cross-technical project management and coordinating project deliverables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
What we also value (preferred):
- Experience with web, mobile web, and mobile app testing.
- Knowledge of ETL software (DataStage), middleware software (BizTalk), and data flow diagrams (Visio).
- Familiarity with productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Slack).
- Leadership experience, including mentoring, task delegation, and driving organizational change.
- Continuous learning mindset and proactive approach to emerging technologies, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
Minimum qualifications:
