Job Summary

The Program Manager IV partners with the Director and key stakeholders to set the strategic direction of a product and ensure effective execution of initiatives. This role leads cross-functional collaboration, oversees product delivery processes, manages resources, and may supervise team members as organizational needs evolve.

This position is based in Leawood, Kansas, with remote eligibility.

What you will be doing:

Leadership and Communication

  • Coordinate product strategy across teams and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with peers, partners, and leadership to share product status and roadmap updates.
  • Lead product team meetings and represent the product team in cross-functional settings.
  • Enforce and improve team processes for managing work and delivering results.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities clearly and effectively.
  • Contribute insights to peers outside of the product group to drive overall success.

Project Management

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap.
  • Oversee iterative delivery ceremonies for the product team.
  • Track and maintain milestones, tasks, and objectives across program-level Kanban boards.
  • Ensure accuracy of product feature documentation and updates.
  • Monitor resource capacity and align tasks with available headcount.
  • Escalate issues, risks, and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure visibility and clarity of deliverables and outcomes.

Product Budget Maintenance

  • Align financial resources, staffing, and project goals with long-term product strategy.
  • Manage product budgets and estimates with accuracy and foresight.
  • Monitor budget performance to support timely and cost-effective delivery.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development or program management.
  • Strong understanding of software delivery methodologies and commercial or open-source tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Strong time and task management skills with a focus on delivering results.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and evaluate data, identify solutions, and communicate recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences, build trust, and maintain transparency.

What we also value (preferred):

  • Experience supporting, managing accounts, or implementing digital signage solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development or program management.

Compensation

AMC provides a compensation range for open positions where required. Factors that may be used to determine actual compensation may include, but are not limited to, a specific skill set, relevant experience or geographic location. The compensation range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets based on business needs.

The compensation for this position is: $100000 - $110000
