OVERVIEW:



As the ERP Project Manager, you will lead and orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of the organization's D365 migration, ensuring seamless alignment with evolving business strategies and operational needs. Your leadership will span cross-functional teams, guiding both internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve a unified project vision. By establishing clear project structures and fostering open communication, you will champion the adoption of best-in-class processes and innovative solutions, carefully balancing technical constraints with business objectives.


Your commitment to project excellence will be evidenced through robust planning, disciplined risk management, and agile problem-solving. You will serve as the central point of accountability, collaborating with business leaders and technical experts to translate organizational goals into actionable project milestones. Emphasis will be placed on maximizing value-optimizing system capabilities to enhance productivity, elevate user experiences, and deliver measurable business impact across all departments.


With a focus on proactive stakeholder engagement and change management, you will inspire teams and secure buy-in at every stage of the migration journey. Your oversight will ensure the D365 implementation is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory and quality standards, ultimately equipping the organization to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.



People Relationships and Leadership:


Reports directly into VP Process & Technology


Direct management of ERP core team 5-10 FTEs


Collaborates with Business SME's to schedule sessions and ensure engagement throughout the process



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



The ERP project manager will deliver the following top 3 goals.



  1. Successful and timely launch of a new ERP for the business
  2. Keep the team engaged and motivated throughout the process
  3. Well informed project stakeholders


Employee Relations and Engagement:



  • Foster proactive stakeholder engagement and change management to inspire teams and secure buy-in at every stage of the migration journey
  • Serve as the central point of accountability, collaborating with business leaders and technical experts to translate organizational goals into actionable project milestones


Leadership and Team Development:



  • Lead and orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of the organization's D365 migration, ensuring seamless alignment with evolving business strategies and operational needs
  • Direct the activities of internal ERP team and/or external consultants assigned to work on the project


Operations:



  • Manage the project life cycle from initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and close-out


  • Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to standards, and meet customer expectations


  • Act as liaison between the organization and application vendors as required for implementation, problem resolution, application upgrades and bug fixes


Best Practices and Process Improvement:



  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and use technology to improve revenue, reduce costs, improve productivity, and increase customer service
  • Build and present business case for any system enhancements users need or process changes to utilize out of the box system functionality following an intensive process review and stakeholder discussions
  • Propose solutions to best meet the requirements of the organization
  • Set up procedures and testing methods to ensure the ongoing accuracy of data maintained within all applications


Communications:



  • Manage project communication throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Manage project risks


Facilitation & Coaching:



  • Provide coaching and mentoring to support your direct reports development, holding regular 1:1s
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 10 years' experience in a Business setting
  • 1-2 years leading ERP implementation projects preferably Dynamics D365
  • PMP certification or actively working towards becoming certified



SKILLS:



  • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage complexity and navigate through change in a dynamic business environment
