Jazz Pharmaceuticals is a global biopharma company whose purpose is to innovate to Reporting to the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, the Senior Compliance Officer, Global Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management is senior member of the Ethics, Compliance, and Privacy department who will play a critical role in advancing the company's long-term strategy and commitment to compliance and ethics by designing and implementing an effective global compliance and privacy monitoring and auditing strategy, with a particular focus on data analytics monitoring, as well as the assessment and management of third-party compliance and privacy related risks. The Senior Compliance Officer, Global Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management leads a team of compliance and data analytics professionals, providing strategic direction and guidance to his/her team, as well as to senior global leaders of the Commerical, R&D, Finance, IT, ERM, and Legal departments and other stakeholders across the company. The Senior Compliance Officer, Global Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management is the valued subject matter expert on compliance data analytics, using his/her expertise to provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders throughout Jazz and supporting the long-term global strategy by designing and implementing effective compliance and privacy monitoring systems and audits to address risk in our direct and third-party related business. The Senior Compliance Officer, Global Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management has extensive, broad-based knowledge of the compliance and privacy laws and regulations governing pharmaceutical company activities in the US, U.K., EU and other jurisdictions in which the company conducts its business, including but not limited to the False Claims Act, Anti-kickback Statute, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, EU Whistleblower directives, HIPAA, GDPR, and the UK Bribery Act. The Senior Compliance Officer, Global Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management should have extensive expertise designing and implementing data analytics compliance monitoring programs across a global organization, including an understanding of and familiarity with the technical requirements for such a program. The Senior Compliance Officer, Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management should also have experience developing, conducting, and reporting on live compliance monitoring activities in the pharmaceutical industry, including field ride-alongs, speaker program and advisory board monitoring, as well as designing, implementing, and managing an effective third-party risk management program for compliance and privacy related risks in a multinational healthcare organization, including a strong working knowledge of US, EU, and UK trade sanctions programs / regulations. The person in this role works autonomously but must also have the ability to work collaboratively across a range of functions and departments. The Senior Compliance Officer, Global Monitoring, Auditing, and Third-Party Risk Management is confident and proactive in his/her approach with a strong commitment to ethical decision-making and the ability to provide reliable, expert advice and guidance to senior global leaders throughout Jazz. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $230,400.00 - $345,600.00 Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis. At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
