This Senior Security Operations Engineer role is part of the Azure Database organization's Security Operations team, which is dedicated to strengthening internal security across services such as Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, and Cosmos DB. The team focuses on infrastructure security, security hardening, access control, anomaly detection and the development/adoption of centralized security tooling. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement scalable access management solutions, including RBAC and policy enforcement across Azure database services. Develop and maintain security tooling to support vulnerability management, threat detection, and compliance monitoring. Lead security hardening efforts for infrastructure and services, ensuring alignment with Microsoft and industry best practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows and drive adoption of secure coding practices. Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments, providing actionable insights to improve the security posture of Azure database platforms. Embody our culture and values | |
