Position Summary
The Division of Community Health Sciences at the UIC School of Public Health is seeking a graduate student to work on a grant-funded research project focused on analysis of data from a study on HIV prevention among Tajik labor migrants who inject drugs in Moscow.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data analysis
  • Assist with preparation of reports and manuscripts
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Basic knowledge of research methods
    • Intermediate knowledge of statistics
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Currently enrolled in a UIC graduate program


    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior experience with linear and logistic regression, mediation and moderation analysis
    • Intermediate knowledge of Stata or SAS
    • Interest in health of people who use drugs
    • Ability to work autonomously and complete job responsibilities independently
