The Opportunity

Customer Experience is entering a new era-one where AI is not just an enhancement but a fundamental driver of how people interact with brands, platforms, and services. You'll help clients harness AI to create experiences that are more intuitive, personalized, and adaptive than ever before, redefining what "customer-centric" truly means.

As a Principal Digital Strategist, you won't just advise on UX-you'll guide organizations through the complexity of integrating AI into their experience ecosystems. From conversational interfaces to predictive journeys and intelligent decisioning, you'll translate emerging technologies into actionable strategies that deliver measurable business impact. This is an opportunity to lead at the intersection of design, technology, and transformation-where your insights will influence decisions at the highest levels and set the course for industry-leading experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Leadenterprise-wide digital transformationengagements, partnering withC-suite and senior executivesto drive customer experience innovation, technology adoption, and organizational change.

  • Applymanagement consulting rigorto define strategy, identify organizational gaps, and developstructured, data-driven solutionsthat drive business value.

  • Navigatehighly matrixed organizations, usingdeep organizational awareness and influence-building skillsto align priorities and drive execution.

  • Define future-state customer experience vision, translating insights into clear experience principles, north stars, and strategic direction that guide multi-year transformation programs.

  • Advise clients on end-to-end customer journeys, ensuring experiences are cohesive across channels, platforms, regions, and organizational boundaries.

  • Partner with product, technology, data, and content leaders to ensure CX and UX strategy is aligned with platform capabilities, operating models, and organizational readiness.

  • Advise clients on how AI-enabled experiences-including conversational interfaces, intelligent journeys, and adaptive personalization-can enhance customer experiences in responsible and scalable ways.

  • Translate CX and UX strategy recommendations into clear business value narratives, connecting experience decisions to growth, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and long-term platform strategy.

  • Mentor and guide internal teams, fostering ahigh-performance consulting cultureand continuously improving engagement models.

  • Shape and contribute to Adobe'sthought leadership, publishing insights, speaking at industry events, and defining internal best practices.

  • Operate with anentrepreneurial, problem-solving mindset, comfortable withambiguityand tackling "first-time" challenges with innovative solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experienceinagency or management consulting environment, enterprise strategy, digital transformation, or customer experience leadership.

  • Proven ability tonavigate matrixed organizations, build influence acrosscross-functional teams, and aligncomplex stakeholder groups.

  • Expertise inAdobe Experience Cloud solutions, includingreal-time personalization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Demonstrated success leadinghigh-profile, executive-level transformation projectswith Fortune 500 clients.

  • Strongexecutive presenceand ability to communicate complex ideas withclarity and impact.

  • Aself-starter mentality, with a natural curiosity and the ability to ask theright strategic questionsto drive innovation.

  • Thrives in ambiguity, bringing anentrepreneurial mindsetand creative problem-solving approach to "first-time" challenges.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $165,100 -- $306,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $211,500 - $306,300
In New York, the pay range for this position is $211,500 - $306,300
In Colorado, the pay range for this position is $184,500 - $267,150

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
