DHQ Seasonal Musician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Read music proficiently and play a brass instrument in a quartet or quintet

* Ability to play as a soloist at kettles

* Read music proficiently and sing a part in a quartet or quintet

* Travel to events throughout the Golden State Division

* Other duties as assigned by the Divisional Music and Worship Arts Director or Divisional Secretary for Program

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Able to play a brass instrument with proficieny

* Able to sing a part with proficiency proficiency

* Uniformed Salvationist currently attending a Salvation Army Corps

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (typically musial instruments or equipment)

* Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.

EQUIPMENT USED:

* Musical instruments as required

* AV equipment as required
