As a Security Officer - Logistics Site Access Control in Carlisle, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors, vendors, and employees, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to designated areas within the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Assist with security-related procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities within the facility.
• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering directions or assistance to individuals at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and surrounding perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.
• Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and post orders as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, unusual activities, and maintenance needs according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when appropriate to address incidents and emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
