Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol Driver

As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Nashville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated government locations, providing a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with staff and visitors, responding to situations with professionalism and strong communication skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the location.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as required.
• Complete logs and reports related to security-related activities and incidents while maintaining confidentiality as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card or License is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
