Security Officer - Access Control Patrol

As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a high level of visibility throughout the premises. Your presence supports a secure environment while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document observations, incidents, and occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and on-site contacts regarding incidents, concerns, and/or site needs.
• Support access control procedures and monitor entry and exit points as outlined in site-specific guidelines.
• Remain visible and approachable to assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with questions or concerns related to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience operating an x-ray screening device is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
