About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Security Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on the installation, programming, and servicing of security-based systems, including access control and CCTV. You'll work alongside skilled technicians to complete full installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are operating at peak performance. This is not an entry-level role-we're looking for someone with 4+ years of hands-on experience who can work independently and is confident installing and servicing a variety of brands and systems. Key Responsibilities: * Install, program, and service access control and CCTV systems in commercial environments. * Perform cable runs, terminations, and low-voltage installations. * Troubleshoot and repair system issues, ensuring minimal downtime. * Work from blueprints and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to spec. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. * Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients. Required Skills & Experience: * Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial security system installation and service. * Proficient in low voltage, cabling, programming, and troubleshooting. * Hands-on experience with systems such as Genetec, AMAG, Lenel, Milestone, and ONSSI. * Strong understanding of access control hardware, CCTV/IP cameras, and networking basics. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. * Must have own basic cabling tools (crimpers, punchdowns, testers, etc.). * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation-must be willing to drive to job sites across the Atlanta metro area, including Rome, GA. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Duluth, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
