| The Philanthropy Executive Officer leads a team of philanthropy officers responsible for building and stewarding relationships with key donors. The role ensures the mission of Front Porch is clearly communicated, while offering opportunities for individuals to achieve their philanthropic goals and securing major contributions. The position also oversees the planning and execution of customized strategies for donor research, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement for both individual and organizational supporters. |
| The duties listed below are considered essential to the successful performance of this position, as defined by Front Porch. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the future and may also be considered essential to the role: * Design, implement and evaluate the comprehensive fund development plan that is aligned with the Foundation's overall strategy and the organization's strategic plan to expand and retain the donor database that will effectively lead to annual, major and planned gifts. * Responsible for key donor relationships and ensure effective communication, involvement and stewarding of each donor. Identify and implement strategies to strengthen, grow and leverage each relationship, including connecting to other prospects. * Actively solicit and close gifts at all levels, including major gifts. Cultivate and steward gift transactions through to completion, including working with advisors on appropriate instruments, documentation and records for annual, planned and major gifts. * Collaborate with the Foundation team to teach and promote the comprehensive fund development plan and strategy for donor engagement that identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individuals and organizations capable of making annual and/or planned gifts. * Continually research, develop and maintain a portfolio of donors and prospects to achieve increased engagement and revenue. * Actively promote Front Porch values and culture and articulate these internally and externally to help broaden the culture of philanthropy throughout the system. * Responsible for all aspects of the planned giving program. Serves as a resource for the staff in complex gifts planning, building and maintaining a network of professional advisors, and making planned giving presentations to individuals and groups of prospective donors. * Train and develop the philanthropy team on all aspects of planned, legacy and major giving strategy and implementation. * Serve as the primary liaison to the communities assigned and work closely with the Executive Director and relevant local committee to raise awareness of the Foundation, address community resident interests and increase engagement in giving. * Perform all other related duties as assigned.
