Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource and support various Inclusion and Belonging efforts; partner to create a safe and inclusive space for all members of the workplace.
  • Partner in creating and advancing Inclusion and Belonging goals, providing expert consultation and supporting the implementation of a comprehensive relevant Strategic Plan.
  • Collect, analyze, and assess data to evaluate the impact of Inclusion and Belonging efforts.
  • Develop reports, presentations, and promotional materials to communicate program outcomes and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Design, create, and facilitate relevant training programs for staff and leadership, promoting awareness and cultural competency to foster an inclusive workplace.
  • Establish and measure goals, evaluate program outcomes, and recommend new initiatives or enhancements.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to inform innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Affinity Groups and Councils, ensuring collaborative efforts are aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Manage recognition programs that highlight and reward inclusive practices and contributions, ensuring alignment with organizational values and culture goals.
  • Manage Affirmative Action Planning processes.
  • Maintain the department website and marketing communications, ensuring materials are up to date, and actively communicate the organization's efforts to all constituencies.
  • Address complex issues with a solution-oriented approach, advocating for best practices and supporting individuals in distress with appropriate resources.
  • Serve on various committees and act as a visible resource to ensure inclusion and belonging of the workforce.
  • Continuously innovate to improve various programs, applying sophisticated reasoning to tackle challenges.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business or public administration, or closely related field
  • Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive professional experience with project leadership experience, including preparation and implementation of training materials and inclusive and belonging initiatives.

SKILLS

  • Proven expertise in culture, inclusion, and belonging initiatives, data collection, and program development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess climate and recommend effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including creating engaging materials and facilitating training.
  • Experience managing teams and coordinating events.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and drive systemic change.

Position Overview

The Inclusion and Belonging Program Manager will assist with the implementation of the strategic plan and organization-wide initiatives around culture and inclusion and develop, implement, and monitor programs that promote a sense of belonging within the organization. This role is responsible for monitoring the success of all Inclusion and Belonging efforts and maintaining partnerships. This role consults, coaches, and facilitates inclusive outcomes for YNHHS individual team members, teams, departments, and leaders to support the best outcomes for the children, families, and communities we serve.
