Engineering Technician - Manufacturing / Cleanroom Environment

Location: Manor, TX | Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Orientation & Training: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour + 10% shift differential if applicable

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform basic mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies according to work instructions
  • Operate hand, power, and bench tools safely and efficiently
  • Conduct leak testing, standard inspections, and minor troubleshooting
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the assembly process
  • Read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Required Skills & Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or AA preferred
  • 1+ years of manufacturing or cleanroom experience
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks
  • Experience with cable and harness assembly is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret written instructions, schematics, and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail, quality-focused, and a willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and process documentation



Physical Requirements



  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently; heavier items with assistance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Comfortable working on ladders and using personal protective equipment (PPE)



Environmental Conditions



  • Exposure to moderate noise, moving machinery, chemicals, and electrical components
  • Work in a manufacturing and/or cleanroom environment with strict safety protocols
