Family Law Paralegal - San Leandro, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay: $48 - $51 per hour

About the Role

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support, property division, and domestic violence matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Communicate with clients, court staff, medical offices, and law firm representatives via phone and email.
  • Manage multiple deadline-driven projects, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Schedule and calendar court dates, depositions, and meetings.
  • Assist with drafting pleadings, declarations, and processing discovery requests.
  • Prepare correspondence and maintain communication with clients, attorneys, and courts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal information.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties as assigned.



Required Skills



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines.
  • Good keyboarding skills and ability to manage complex legal forms.



Preferred Skills



  • Familiarity with California Family Law practices.
  • Experience with EAMS, legal, and litigation processes.
  • Prior secretarial or assistant experience.
  • Proficiency with Adobe and legal software programs.
