Material Handler- Storeroom

Opportunity Overview:

The Storeroom Material Handler is a 6-month to 12-month position at our New Stanton facility.

You will report to the Supervisor, of Inventory Control and Quality Operations on-site 5 days, 40 hours per week.

Your Day-to-Day:

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of all parts that move to and from the storeroom, ensuring that all required SAP goods movement transactions are complete, and the correct documentation is received and maintained for requested parts that move to and from the storeroom.

• Arrange, store, and retrieve warehouse items and maintain accurate location records in SAP, Microsoft Excel, or other systems
• Load, wrap, and mark or label stock or equipment on pallets or containers
• Interface with internal customers and external suppliers daily
• Participate in peer-to-peer process, procedure, and safety training as required
• Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
• Adhere to all safety requirements and maintain fork truck and other equipment certifications and training
• Complete physical inventory cycle counts, enter data in SAP, and maintain logs
• Picking and issuing material to SAP Production Orders
• Monitor supply inventory and place or coordinate orders with shipping department for packaging material.

Who You Are:

• High School education or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment with SAP inventory control system.
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment used to load, unload, transport and store goods

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $20/hour to $24/hour.
