You are a person who loves to build, maintain, and automate data processes within Azure data factory. We need someone who has an analytical mindset and proven problem-solving skills. In the role of ClaimsXM Data Engineer II, you will be responsible for managing, processing, and analyzing enterprise data.

About The Position



  • Build, maintain and automate data processes within Azure data factory.
  • Perform configuration, scripting, analysis, installation, and administration of ETL tools.
  • Assist in establishing data quality measures, data cleansing processes and governance with the DBA and Development teams.
  • Work with other technical teams to build objects and integration points within an Enterprise DataMart\warehouse solution.
  • Help determine, enforce, and document data policies, procedures, and standards using data flow tools such as Visio.
  • Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with both technical and business teams as well as auditors.
  • Support key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ensure minimum necessary and best practices are being followed from a security perspective.
  • Establish critical strategic and operational goals; develop and implement new products, processes, standards, or operational plans to achieve strategies.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met for internal and external clients.
  • Provide Junior Data Engineers guidance when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.



Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree and five years of Data Engineering

    • If no degree, a minimum of seven years of experience in Data Engineering.


  • Experience working within Azure data factory required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools especially SQL\SSIS\SSRS and SSAS
  • Experience in creating complex SQL Databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  • Extensive knowledge transforming data between different data types
  • Extensive knowledge working with Data Marts and Data Warehouses
  • Highly organized and responsible
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Analytical mindset and proven problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who can multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in a fast-paced environment



Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience installing and using Power-BI in Microsoft Government Azure
  • Knowledge of Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model\application
  • Knowledge of programming languages
  • Health Care experience
