Job Description




As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Shift in Commerce, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility, including both interior and exterior perimeters, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, according to company procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and/or documenting visitor information as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities by following established protocols and providing assistance to site personnel and first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
