As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible at a retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff, customers, and visitors.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter theft and/or other incidents.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Work collaboratively with store management and local authorities as needed, adhering to company and site protocols.
• Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and equipment, following all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification for positions in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
