DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility during events. Your responsibilities will include emptying trash bins, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring restrooms are kept in pristine condition. Additionally, you will assist with the setup and dismantling of tables, chairs, stages, and livestock panels, as well as cleaning the arena seats to provide a welcoming environment for all attendees. This position involves general custodial duties and maintenance tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of events. Your efforts will contribute significantly to keeping the Farm Show clean and enjoyable for both guests and exhibitors. One of the most rewarding aspects of this job is the opportunity to engage with the community and experience the unique atmosphere of each event, making every day a new and entertaining adventure.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Temporary, full-time employment without benefits, 80 hours bi-weekly.
  • Available Shifts:
    • Monday - Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
    • Monday - Sunday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualification (not required):

  • Experience working around animals and livestock and in large-scale public events
