The Office of Global Engagement (
OGE) at the University of Georgia is dedicated to expanding the global reach of our institution's instructional, research, and service missions, facilitating the university's thoughtful and effective participation and leadership in the interconnected world of the twenty-first century.
OGE is comprised of three units: Immigration Services, International Initiatives, and Global Education-the latter including UGA's residential centers in Oxford, England and Cortona, Italy-with all areas supported by dedicated Finance and Operations staff. OGE's comprehensive structure enables it to advance strategic institutional goals aimed at raising the global profile of the University of Georgia. | Position Summary |
This incumbent is part of a team of business managers and accountants supporting the activities and responsibilities of the Office of Global Engagement. Offices within
OGE include the office of Global Education, the Africa/Latin America Study Abroad Programming Initiatives office, the office of Immigration Services, UGA's International Centers (Cortona, Italy and Oxford, UK), and the office of International Initiatives. This financial analyst position will have multifaceted accounting and data management responsibilities supporting fiscal activities of
OGE. |

- Professional accounting experience.
- Possess excellent communication and analytical skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.

- Prior experience working with Study Abroad budget management.
- Possess a high degree of attention to detail and be highly proficient in effective communication.

- Oversee business analysis and tracking of study abroad and exchange activity including but not limited to assisting with study abroad program budget review, study abroad program close-out procedures, analyzing program data and making recommendations, overseeing withdrawal process, tracking communications with stakeholders and taking appropriate actions, reviewing and analyzing study abroad program revenue and fee activities for exchange and other related programming, maintain program data and historical information.
- Provide reports and analysis to leadership.
- Collect and analyze large volumes of financial and tracking data.
- Communicate with campus stakeholders regarding study away activities.
