What We Need

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager, Information Security Project Management to join our Information Security organization. This is a key leadership position responsible for building and managing a high-performing, professional project delivery team. You will be focused on implementing important corporate initiatives, including a portfolio of security programs, and providing a wide variety of project management consulting and delivery services to the enterprise. This high-impact role involves handling multiple portfolio and non-portfolio initiatives and budget management within the Information/Cyber Security team.

This role is eligible for our Flex Persona for candidates local to our Boston, MA office.

Your Day to Day

  • Build strong relationships with IT and Business partners to ensure alignment on security initiatives.
  • Deliver multiple complex projects and programs that impact multiple business areas.
  • Manage project timelines and financials, along with risks, issues, decisions, and changes.
  • Manage risk/issue escalations and drive resolution.
  • Take responsibility for executive-level reporting and communication.
  • Manage a team at varying levels of roles and experience in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Provide ongoing leadership, vision, structure, and support to transformation and agile PMO execution for all security-related projects.
  • Oversee demand management for the security project portfolio, assuming a lead role in managing key transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure accountability for the overall quality, thoroughness, and timely completion of projects assigned to the project management team.
  • Evangelize agility practices, principles, and ways of working,mentoring the team with Agile knowledge to ensure methodologies are understood and applied.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to the project management disciplineand other process improvements, helping to increase their job performance over time.
  • As a leader, focus on the needs of the team, assist with removing roadblocks, and manage the process and culture to ensure team progress and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of Project Management experience.
    • 3+ years of people leadership/management experience.
    • Proven experience executing large-scale projects, preferably in ahealthcareor regulated environment.
    • Experience working with Agile software development teams and managing project deadlines.
  • Education:
    • BS/BA in Computer Science, IS, Business, or equivalent required.
    • Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Kanban, Scrum, and Agile management platforms.
    • Understanding of Project Management tools such as ServiceNow, MS Project, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
    • Strong coaching, collaboration, enablement, and listening skills.
    • Ability to analyze corporate program needs, determine implementation strategies, and obtain resources to meet objectives.
    • Strong ability to influence and educate clients at all levels of the organization as it pertains to applying project management best practices.
    • Flexibility and a champion for change in organizations working toward agile adoption.
    • Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC 2, HITRUST) is highly desirable.

LocationBoston Time TypeFull time Salary Range: $140,760.00 - $172,040.00

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
