We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in an administrative and clinical capacity. The ideal candidate will work closely with collaborating physicians, clinical staff, patients and their families, insurance companies, and vendors to plan, evaluate, and coordinate care for our Structural Heart patients across the entire continuum of care.


Requirements

  • ACLS/BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required.


Responsibilities

  • Provide preprocedural and post-procedural care in both outpatient and inpatient clinical settings.
  • Ensure effective communication with all parties to deliver superior patient care and experience.
  • Coordinate the overall clinical program and ensure smooth operation and patient flow for Structural Heart patients.
  • Lead the clinical interdisciplinary team and services for pre-procedural evaluation prior to heart valve surgery, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, presenting professional-based presentations and communication skills.
  • Oversee Pre-Admission Testing for TAVR patients and those undergoing open-heart surgery.
  • Abstract and submit clinical data on TAVR patients to the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR).
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of previous TAVR cases to identify candidates for additional transcatheter valve procedures.
  • Facilitate a multidisciplinary working group aimed at achieving American College of Cardiology Certification.
  • Support long-term goals, including the development of a dedicated Valve Clinic.
  • Serve as the liaison between Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital to resolve diagnostic testing issues.
  • Provide education and mentorship to new Cardiac Research Assistants, contributing to the expansion of the Transcatheter Valve Research Program.
